Before you begin
Read the full kit instructions. Wash and dry your hands, tie back long hair, brush and floss, and set out the trays, putty, timer and a mirror. Do not begin if you have significant pain, swelling, loose teeth or a dental emergency.

Prepare your kit, follow each timing step and check every impression before returning it.
A careful impression gives your team a usable starting record
Choose and practise with the tray
Select a tray that covers the full arch without pinching. Practise placing it centrally and lifting it away without scraping the teeth.
Mix, load and seat the material
Use equal amounts of the supplied materials and mix for the time stated in your kit. Load the tray evenly, centre it, seat it in one controlled movement and keep it still for the full setting time.
Check the impression
A usable impression should show the complete teeth and gumline with no tray showing through, major pulls, folds or missing back teeth. Photograph it if the supplied instructions request a quality check.
Pack and return
Keep accepted impressions in the supplied packaging. Follow the current return instructions and tracking method included with your order.
